  7. The addon worked fine for a long time but since some days it slows down my pc whenever it checks the mail because of massive access to the sqlite db. I already updated to the last version, but the problem is still there. Is there a possibility to improve this behavior ?

  8. On 3.6.22 all is back to normal ...many thanks for taking time to sort this, very much appreciated

  9. Working good, no complaints except for one: the order my email addresses were added is flipped in the context menu
Ex: if I look under Manage Accounts I see this
    Email A
    Email B
    Email C

If I rightclick on the statusbar icon I see this
    Email C
    Email B
    Email A

Not a big issue, just throws me off a little as I'm used to it listing A, then B, then C

    FF7 btw

    thank you

  13. Installed 2.6.
It seems to have fixed the log in problem.
I have several accounts, but it wasn't logging in to one particular account, on both Macs & PCs.
Like I said 2.6 seems to have fixed this for the PC, will try the Mac later.

  18. I have to use gmail manager also, because it shows 0 mail, but I have mails under labels which skips inbox. :(

Anyway I like this addon, perfect work.

  19. Balazs, the extension shows the mail in labels by default unless you have chosen not to show them in the Settings (look for 'Do not check for mail in labels').

  20. works in 7.01. Thanks for the great addon.
    more feature request:
click on the account to login instead of going into the submenu.
    other mailbox support like hotmail?
    by henrik on Tuesday, 18 October 2011, 12:04 p.m. #
  21. Thanks for the answer NT, but 'Do not check for new mail in labels' is not checked. I tried it to check it, and save, then uncheck then save.
Counting mails not in inbox is not working for me.

There are many filters in my gmail account, most of them 'skip inbox' and label mails.
These mails are not counted, but these mails are often more important than the others in inbox.

I have more than one gmail accounts, it would be a very good option, if I could see a separate counter for my main gmail account, and a counter for the rest.

    Thx in advance.

  22. I have a strange count on one of my email accounts.
I am Running around 14 email accounts and all is fine except one email; it will show say 5 new emails but when I go into the email account inbox there will be 10 or 12 new emails waiting.
As i say this is only with one of the accounts, the new unopened email count is always off on that one? the rest are exact counts

  23. i have the same minor problem as Trogdor, my email accounts are in reverse order. dragging them into a different order makes no difference.
    by DyNama on Thursday, 20 October 2011, 05:50 p.m. #
  24. Would it be possible to change it so that when I'm logging into accounts, the cursor is in the password field and not the name field? I can't tell you how many times I almost delete my name. There's no reason for it to be there. Great add-on otherwise!
    by Friday on Friday, 21 October 2011, 11:17 p.m. #
  25. I also experience the issue Trogdor's mentioned: email accounts are in reverse order, dragging them into a different order makes no difference. I am unable to change the order of accounts in the context menu.

    Thank you!

  29. I made translations, but I cannot try to use them to check their correctness.
Are there any ways to try?

By the way, Gmail Checker 2.6 works fine with FF7.0.1.

  30. Something's wrong with Gmail Checker 2.6. The email I get from one account is showing up in the menu under my other 2 accounts. So if I have 10 emails in one account it'll show up as 30 emails on the toolbar and the menu will show the same emails listed under every account.

Deleting the emails from the menu also does not update it. When I Check Mail again the same number of email returns. Using FF 3.6

  31. Going back to ver. seems to have fixed the problem.

  32. Ok I think I figured out what's wrong. It seems like the BetterCache add-on is conflicting with Gmail Checker 2.6. If I have BetterCache disabled GC works fine. With BetterCache enabled with the default settings I get the problem I described earlier. I don't know what settings to use in BetterCache to avoid this issue so I'll just uninstall BetterCache.

Maybe someone can install BetterCache to confirm this problem?

  33. All working well and back to normal now for me. :)

Small request. If possible could you make the Manage Accounts window bigger, or resizeable? With several accounts it's a bit small and fiddly at the moment.

Thanks for all your hard work.

  35. Hi, I'm tampering with config.php because I would like to avoid people being able to click on a certain day to add an event...

If I remove the <a> tags from lets say

    <tr class="week">
    <td id="{ID_0}" class="{WHICH_0}"><a href="#">{DAY_0}</a>{EVENT_0}</td>

it won't display them but I loose the current day in bold and the days with events look plain... Any idea??

Thanks on beforehand and nice work!

  36. Javi, they can't add a new event unless they know your password in config.php.

  37. I can't belive, that nobody experiences problems with mails skip inbox and labeled.

Please try it out. GC just not shows these mails. I would like to stop using GmailManager, because this plugin is much better, but I can't now.

  38. My problem is in that account where I use nested labels. (labels in hierarchy).

Unread mails in \work\customer1 are not counted.

    Please help.
    by Balazs on Thursday, 24 November 2011, 05:05 p.m. #
  39. NT I know, I would like to remove that option anyway as I'm adding events from a php system I made and integrated to the sites CMS...

Any help would be appreciated and thanks for trying to help !
    by Javi on Thursday, 24 November 2011, 07:02 p.m. #
  40. I'm also having the problem where unread messages under nested labels are not picked up by Gmail Checker. I have multiple filters where new messages skip the inbox and are labelled. Those under regular labels (not nested) show up fine in Gmail Checker, but those that are under nested labels do not.

  41. Javi, in config.php remove the code around line 391-395, i.e. cols[j].getElementsByTagName("a")...
    by NT on Wednesday, 30 November 2011, 04:14 p.m. #
  42. Follow up the previous comment, the better way is to remove the code between line 392 and 393:

    var url...

That way if the user clicks on the link, it won't do any thing.
    by NT on Wednesday, 30 November 2011, 04:18 p.m. #
  43. Thanks NT, gonna try that right away :)

I think it's great that you give such good support in order to implement the script on other sites and help with customisation :)

Cheers and keep up the good work!

  44. Sorry for double posting, as expected it works like a charm :)

BTW, if anyone wants to see how I integrated my php script to add events to the calendar just let me know, it's very easy, but it's even easier to copy & paste :)

    Cheers !
